Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy was born in Miami Florida on 16 April 1996. She is half English and half Spanish her parents are Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker and Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. The father of her is Argentine who is of Scottish as well as English heritage. Her mother's ancestry is Spanish and English. Taylor-Joy, who is youngest of five children, four come from her father's previous marriage. Family resided within Buenos Aires up until Taylor-Joy reached the age of six, then moved to Victoria district in London. Taylor-Joy says that moving to London was traumatizing and that she was unable to take the time to learn English in order to prevent returning to Argentina. Hill House was the new school she needed to go to after she left Northlands. Then she enrolled in Queen's Gate School, where she learned dance and participated in productions. When she was 16, she quit the school to explore acting as a profession. Taylor-Joy had a destiny to become an actress from a very young age. The realization of her dreams came after Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Management offered her a modelling job.
